August 8: Get-together-party at Kårhuset, Chalmers

The evening before the conference begins you are invited to a get-together-party in Kårhuset at Chalmers.  Participation is included in the congress fee. Pre-reservation through the online registration is necessary.

August 9: Welcome Reception at Börsen

Monday evening you are invited to a reception by the Lord Mayor in the meeting hall of the City Council. It is in the city centre close to the harbor (a 20 min walk from the Conference venue or 5 minutes by tram to Brunnsparken). This is the historic heart of Gothenburg, with the statue of Gustaf II Adolf, the founder of Gothenburg in 1621. Participation is included in the congress fee. Pre-reservation through the online registration is necessary.

August 10: Presidential Reception at Kårhuset, Chalmers

You are invited to a reception hosted by the President of the IMS. Participation is included in the congress fee. Pre-reservation through the online registration is necessary. 

August 12: Banquet at Trädgår'n

End these special days in Gothenburg with your colleagues and new found friends and experience the high class food and service at the restaurant venue of Trädgår´n. You start the evening with a tour with the Paddan boats* through the canals of Gothenburg and the harbour. After this you will enjoy a well combined three course dinner based on international food with a Scandinavian touch in line with the entertainment for the evening.

Fee: SEK 500 incl VAT (SEK 400 excl VAT). Pre-reservation through the online registration.

*Please make sure you wear appropriate clothes for a tour by open boat.
